Senior Vice President
After graduating from Central Washington University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Ed moved to Southern California to work as a Field Engineer for a civil contractor working on the construction of a dam and light rail project. Two years later, Ed received an opportunity to move back to the Pacific Northwest and worked for a large commercial contractor as a Project Engineer and a Project Manager. In 1997, Ed moved to MRJ Constructors as a partner to help expand the commercial division of MRJ.
Ed has extensive experience in technically demanding commercial, industrial, retail, residential and heavy construction and is responsible for field operations and project management. He directs MRJ's field supervisors to ensure quality workmanship, on-time completion, safety and cost controls.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Ed is highly involved with all phases of the construction process, providing valuable input and knowledge from the early project development stage through the conceptual estimating as part of MRJ’s preconstruction services.
