Crunch Fitness

One of several projects at the Crossroads Mall involved the transformation of an existing Circuit City retail store into Washington State’s first Crunch Fitness. MRJ started construction of Crunch’s new facility while completing the shell and core work for Crossroads Mall. The shell conversion from Circuit City to Crunch Fitness consisted of the demolition of the interior, updating the exterior façade complete with new siding, storefronts and overhead doors and new shell mechanical/electrical. The new 17,000 square foot facility features a group fitness room, tanning booths, hydro massage therapy, full locker rooms/showers, cardio and free weight areas, reception and aerobics area and houses state of the art work-out equipment.

Crunch’s build out was originally slated to take twelve weeks, but MRJ was able to complete the project in ten weeks to meet Crunch Fitness’ goal of opening June 2, 2012
