ACS-Xerox Wireless Call Center in Lacey

The ACS-Xerox project was a 40,000SF change of use project converting a high-bay warehouse to a call center to accommodate over 1,000 employees and guests. Since the original intended use of the building was a warehouse, there was not much infrastructure for the new ACS office other than an empty shell. A brand-new HVAC, plumbing and electrical service was necessary to accommodate the usage ACS-Xerox required. The new home for ACS-Xerox now boasts a state-of-the-art server room, two break rooms, five training class rooms, a testing center, offices, two conference rooms and a production call center that seats over 600 employees. The new call center has over twenty miles of cabling in the ceiling above along with a standby generator and UPS system in case of a power interruptions. MRJ started construction in late September and completed the project within the 8-week allotted schedule despite a power outage, freezing snow days and added scopes midway thru the project.
