Ford of Kirkland
Designed by Lance Mueller and Associates, the Ford of Kirkland project was an extensive renovation of their existing facility. The project included doubling the size of existing showrooms and building a new car delivery area in between the two showroom areas, modernizing the service department and parts retail areas, exterior façade renovation and interior tenant improvement work. MRJ was tasked by the owner to come up with a plan that allowed the service department to remain fully operational throughout construction.
As part of the showroom expansion, the entire façade of the facility was re-framed, and the exterior received new aluminum cladding to meet the current Ford corporate specifications. The two new showrooms were then enclosed with a floor to ceiling curtain wall system to allow ample natural light and visibility for displaying vehicles. MRJ finished the project nearly a month ahead of schedule enabling Kirkland Ford to get back to their normal business operations during their peak sales season.
