Insight Climbing and Movement gym

Completed in spring 2020, MRJ Constructors converted a 7,600 square foot existing church (originally built in 1940) into a new climbing gym. The facility is located in Bremerton.

During the design phase, MRJ Constructors diligently worked with the project team to ensure that the design met the clients cost and schedule expectations.

Once under construction, the project was completed within a 10 week time frame. The tenant improvement project required structural building upgrades to support the added weight of the climbing walls. 

The project team included Island Rock Gym, Coates Design, Artifex Engineering Company, EP USA out of Bend, Oregon, provided the climbing wall engineering, fabrication and installation.

The client also owns and operates a climbing wall gym located on Bainbridge Island.
