Koi Japanese Restaurant
The Koi Japanese Restaurant was a 7,000 square feet tenant improvement project located in Bellevue. MRJ started construction in January 2007 and completed the project by May 2007. MRJ installed a top of the line commercial kitchen, a large sushi bar, a full service bar and two separate dining areas. The showcase of the restaurant was a koi pond water feature in the center of the space separating the area into individualized dining experiences.
The koi pond consisted of a custom-built pond surround complete with a twelve feet tall center with five waterfalls cascading through various points of the backdrop, natural thin stone veneer with a slate cap to finish off the look. The owner and design team aspired for a first-class dining environment to compliment the dining experience.
